If for any reason you need to cancel your booking completely, the following refund terms apply:

More 30 days before = 50% refund

  • We reserve the right to cancel a PYO experience.  If we cancel, we will endeavor to give you at least one week’s notice.  You will then have the option to transfer to an alternative date or have a full refund.

  • In the event of ‘extreme’ weather conditions. E.g. Thunderstorms or a heatwave, we will review the weather forecast up to 2 days before the event.

IF a Heatwave is forecast, we reserve the right to bring the time forward to say 10am for a more comfortable experience (with the prior agreement of participants already booked in).

4. Do I Need To Bring Anything With Me?

Please Bring Your Own Scissors & Bucket/Container to take your flowers home in.

  • If you forget, it’s not a problem, we do have spare scissors & buckets.

Because the ground underfoot around are farm is even, we also recommend wearing closed toes flat shoes.

5. What if it’s raining?

We are a ‘whatever the weather’ flower farm.

If the weather is wet, our PYO Experiences still go ahead and we highly recommend viewing the weather forecast before visiting to determine if you need to wear araincoat or sunscreen.

Arrival to and Departure from MERRI Flowers

  • We will be there to greet you in the car park when you arrive at our farm.

  • Please note that due to insurance restrictions we do not allow people to wander around the farm without us, instead either Rachelle or Julian will take you on a tour of the farm,

  • We also accept no responsibility for any property left on the premises during or after your PYO Experience.

Please Respect our Flower Stem Quantity Guidelines

  • To maintain a MERRI experience, we request that participants gather no more than 5 stems of the same flower variety so everyone on the same PYO time slot can enjoy the flowers too.

  • We also request that PYO participants aim to cut no more than 40 stems of flowers within a standard bucket & 20 stems within a small bucket, which is approximately a half-filled bucket to avoid flower petals being crushing, your bucket from cracking and us stressing that we won’t have enough flowers to cope with the next day’s PYO Experiences.

Please following our Farm Safety Guidelines.

  • Our farm is a working farm. The ground underfoot is uneven and there are a few natural trip hazards. Because of these hazards, all of our events on our farm involve the farm owner or a co-host being with participants at all times.

Tea/Coffee and Cake for Two or More AFTER a PYO Experience

  • This option is ONLY available when a PYO Experience is booked

  • The same cancellation terms apply to this option.
